In this time of great transition the voice of civil society is more important than ever. It is the mandate for our politicians, the trend corporations avidly follow and the appetite that the media will feed.

We hold a vision of millions of people committed individually to action and then united as a movement for change. We know that our separate voices make a difference and beyond, that the emergence of a movement will be an unstoppable force for change.

So a key part of our work is building this movement:

Awakening

– a key part of the Initiative is offering people the opportunity to awaken into a commitment to act and a grounded optimism about our future here on Planet Earth. This is the work of the Awakening the Dreamer Symposium.

Alliances

– we are actively building partnerships with organizations from the whole spectrum of environmental, social justice and spiritual work in which

• We offer our work, the symposium or other tools, to be used freely in support of their own organziational aims
• Inspired by Buckminster Fuller’s definition of synergy we seek out new possibilities unpredictable from looking at the behaviour of the indivual parties involved

Web for the Movement

– we are actively exploring how to help provide a web platform that serves the movement, both people and organizations. We are delighted to be working with WiserEarth and others in this work. And delighted to talk to other collaborators, just contact us.
